Fellas, it's been over 3 years since we lost our dear friend Johnathan Leeroy Monks, aka Johnny Monks. Johnny "7-2" Monks was an integral part of the infamous Banks Boathouse and a fundamental part of our city's history, rounding out the "Cincinnati Big 3" with Harambe & Fiona the Hippo. His gambling prowess and ability to pick up chicks left us all in awe during his short time on earth, and we take solace in the fact that his ancestors are living on in the Devou Course 2nd Hole Lake. Though he has been enshrined via a brick in Great American Ballpark as well as countless hearts, it is only fair for us to continue to honor his legacy with a Saturday Golf Scramble/Drinking Tournament. I will be back in Cincinnati for the week with the sole purpose of turning 30 years old and honoring the beloved beta fish. See below for details and a link to sign up.
